Updates on Board HotShot Charters
Hotshot Charters has been pretty busy since our last blog. We wanted to give you some updates for the last few months.
HotShot has moved South
If you have been following us on FaceBook or Instagram you know that HotShot Charters has made the move from the warm waters of the Gold Coast to the cold waters south in Victoria.
HotShot decided to try our hand at sword fishing in Lakes Entrance. The trip down was roughly 850 miles with fantastic weather and some really good fishing for blues and striped marlin.
We arrived in Lakes Entrance and being weather dependent have made several attempts at dropping for swordfish with beautiful weather windows.
Pending Australian All Tackle Record

Australian record
On our last trip out we hit gold with owner Matthew Boyle on board. We managed to boat an incredible 349 kilo swordfish that is currently pending for the Australian All Tackle Record.

New Gear Boxes
Also HotShot Charters has decided to use the bad weather windows to do some updates on our gear boxes. We pulled both gear boxes recently to completely refurbish before our Cairns heavy tackle season.
Cairns Season 2018
As the time to our next black marlin season draws closer we are pretty excited to get back out there and chase those giant beasts. After the amazing season we had last year, this year looks to be just as good if not better with big girls. We have limited spots available with prime dates in September,October and November.
